Eating Healthy During Coronavirus COVID-19

Some helpful tips on eating and staying healthy during quarantine from Coronavirus – COVID-19


We’ve all been stuck home cooking, cleaning and washing our hands till they’re raw. During this time it is important not to stress eat and try to keep to a consistent routine, like eating 3 meals and one healthy snack if needed. Getting out for a walk will help reduce stress, burn some calories and it stops you from being glued to the TV’s never ending coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a way to serve my patients better I’ve been offing telehealth visits through a HIPAA protected platform called Healthie. 

Most insurance companies in NYS are covering my services if their policy normally did for in-person visits for nutritional counseling. 

Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Oxford, Medicare, Northwell Health Employee Plan, NYSHIP and some BCBS plans are which I am in-network with and are all approved for telehealth.

A lot of my clients/patients have been asking me what they can do to boost their immunity to help prevent complications should they get sick during this time.
